In this video, we’ll walk you through the complete casting process flow, from the initial concept to the final precision-machined part. 1. Design and Material Selection
The casting journey begins with a deep understanding of customer requirements. Our engineers study the 2D drawings or 3D CAD models and select the most suitable material—be it ductile iron, grey iron, brass, stainless steel, or aluminum. Material selection is critical for ensuring mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and performance.

2. Mould Making
Once the design is finalized, we move on to creating molds using techniques such as resin sand molding, green sand, hot core box, lost-wax, or lost-foam casting, depending on the part complexity and finish requirements. Mold precision determines the accuracy of the final product.

3. Core Preparation
If the part has internal cavities or channels, cores are created using sand or other materials. These cores are inserted into the mold to form complex internal geometries.

4. Melting and Pouring
Next, the selected metal is melted in a furnace at controlled temperatures. This molten metal is carefully poured into the mold cavity through a gating system. Our skilled technicians ensure that the pouring process is smooth, reducing the risk of defects like air bubbles or shrinkage.

5. Cooling and Solidification
After pouring, the metal begins to cool and solidify inside the mold. The cooling time varies depending on the metal type and casting size. Controlled cooling ensures the right grain structure and minimizes stress.

6. Mold Removal and Cleaning
Once solidified, the mold is broken open to remove the raw casting. The part undergoes cleaning processes such as shot blasting, grinding, or sand removal to eliminate any remaining mold material and surface imperfections.

7. Heat Treatment and Surface Finishing
Depending on the application, the casting may undergo heat treatment processes to enhance strength and durability. Surface finishing options include polishing, coating, painting, and anti-rust treatments to ensure long-term performance.

8. Machining and Final Inspection
Many of our customers require machined castings, so we provide precision CNC machining to meet tight tolerances. Every part is inspected for dimensional accuracy, material composition, and structural integrity. We follow strict quality control protocols in line with customer standards.
